Health Issues
The health and
well-being of my cats and their offspring is very important to me. I have been a
veterinary technician for more many years and have worked in a variety of
veterinary clinics in two states. All of my cats are carefully screened for
health problems by our veterinarian prior to breeding, including
screening for FelV, FIP and FIV. My cattery is a "closed cattery" and my Ocicats
are regularly vaccinated and vet-checked. Kittens are vet-checked, vaccinated
and de-wormed before being placed with their new families, and we offer a 30 day
health guarantee as detailed at the time of sale.
My Commitment
As a responsible
breeder, I take extra care in the selection of suitable homes for my babies.
Potential kitten buyers should be caring, loving and responsible, and have a
thorough knowledge of Ocicats and their care. They must be able to provide a
safe, clean indoor environment where their kitten will be loved and properly
cared for. Ocicats have special needs; they are curious, mischievous and active,
and need families who can spend plenty of time with them. I am happy to provide
any advice and support that may be needed as you adjust to life with your new
family member, and I love to keep in touch!
My commitment to my kittens does not end when they are placed with their new families! If, for any reason, you are unable to keep your Kitums Katums Ocicat kitten, I ask that you return it to me so that I can find a suitable replacement home. My cats and kittens should never go to a shelter or rescue, or be placed in an unsuitable home environment.
