I tell you all I need caffiene
To stay awake at this cat show scene;
    And truly it does help me stay awake.

But coffee is not the only form,
Though perhaps it is the norm,
    I'm told that there are pills that I could take.

Now, they may have enough caffiene,
But they don't come from the coffee bean,
    And where is the hot brew my thirst to slake?

So, if it's all the same to you,
I'll stick with that dark steaming brew,
    Because coffee is the caffiene I like to take.

[post script]
But now my bladder is filled with brew.
  Perhaps you've had this happen to you?
    Soon a trip to the "Loo" I'll have to make.
