Thank Goodness for Cats

Thank Goodness for Cats,
    Even though there is rain,
And generally cats
Think getting wet is a pain.
So fluff them and dry them
    And get them all neat.
'Cause now it is time
    For your cats to compete!

Your cat looks very nice
With its short, or long, hair.
Whether solid or patterned
you know cats just don't care.
They don't hunt by color,
    It's "squirm", "Scurry" or "Twitch",
That catches their interest
    And their playful itch.

So pull out the toys
    All you Judges today.
And play with each cat
For you know what they say,
"A cat that's excited
    Will show at its best!"
And when they're done playing
    A cat likes to rest.
