Four and Twenty Household Pets
( with apologies to Mother Goose and "Sing a Song of Sixpence" )

Sing a song of Jazzy Cats
    There's catnip in the toys.
Four and Twenty Household Pets
Some are girls and some are boys.
They came to try the cat show
To compete would be a fling.
They found that they had so much fun
They knew they'd have to sing.

So Four and Twenty Household Pets,
    Some kittens and some cats,
Some of them with solid coats,
    Some with pure white spats,
They came from far, they came from wide,
They came to this cat show,
To find new homes is why they came,
So adopt them before you go.

Four and Twenty Household Pets
    Decided to show off.
They're gathered now in Ring Two,
But the crowd is not enough.
So drift that way to see them all,
Both the young and the old,
Then adopt them all and take them home,
Take three if you are bold.
