Make checks payable in U.S. funds to BORN FREE CC and send to the Entry Clerk, together with Entry Form(s) AND Summary Sheet. If entering on-line, send your fee check to the Entry Clerk immediately.

Checks returned for any reason are subject to a $25.00 bank surcharge. All fees must be paid, once entered, whether or not the Entry is benched, once the catalog has gone to press. [as per TICA Show Rules] Entries confirmed upon receipt of fees.

NOTE: Telephone, FAX, on-line and e-mail entries are considered binding as having been taken in good faith. Please print or type neatly all correct catalog Entry and Summary Sheet information.

AIRPORTS:
Burbank and Ontario Airports are closest to Arcadia/Monrovia areas. LAX [Los Angeles International Airport] in not as convenient time-or-distance wise, unless you're renting a car. Contact Show Manager for any possibilities of being picked up.
ALCOHOL:
No alcoholic beverages are permitted inside the Masonic Center [aka Lodge] or on the grounds.
AWARDS:
Top 10 format, graduating down to Top 5, depending on the number of cats present and competing.
CAGES:
Single benching cage (approximately 36" wide x 22" deep x 27" high, with one door and no divider) will be provided. Bring material to cover 3 sides and bottom (and top if desired). Two (2) kittens or one (1) cat are permitted in a single cage. NOTE: If you intend to bring your own cages, you MUST advise us on the Summary Sheet at the time you send in your entries of the number and the width of your cage(s). If you bring your own cage & require more room, you will need to purchase a grooming space for an additional fee. Please plan on using the cages provided, as grooming spaces will be limited & on a first come, first serve basis. Please bring your own litter pans, cat food and dishes. Litter will be supplied. People food will be available in the show from the Masonic Lodge's kitchen.
CATALOG:
One free catalog per principal exhibitor, additional ones, if available, $3 at the door.
CATALOG ADS:
Copy and art-work should be camera-ready. Editors are not responsible for any business-cards/ads that don't reproduce well in photocopying, such as "metallic" business cards.
CHECK-IN:

Early check-in on Saturday will start at 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 am. Judging Saturday will begin at 9:30 a.m. sharp! Check-in on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. Judging Sunday will begin at 9:00 a.m. sharp! [Long trip home for many folks.]

Late arrivals must check-in with the Master Clerk and each ring clerk to ensure their entries are marked present. No cats may leave the show hall before the show closes unless permission is obtained from the show manager. No cats may remain in the show hall overnight.

CLASSES:
KITTENS:
Pedigreed and HHP kittens must be at least 4 months of age to compete, but should NOT have reached their 8th-month birthday on either day of this weekend. Kittens do NOT have to be registered in TICA to be shown, but must be registered to utilize any wins earned at this show for Regional and International Awards. TICA Rules DO permit altered kittens to be shown in all categories. [ Kittens under 3 months of age are NOT permitted in the show hall For $ale or otherwise!]
ADULTS:

Championship adults [whole cats / alters] and HHP cats must be at least 8 months of age prior to the show, or celebrating their 8th-month birthday on the first day of the show. Adults do NOT have to be registered in TICA to be shown, if this is their first TICA show, but must be registered to confirm titles and utilize any wins earned at this show before entering the next TICA show.

HHP adults MUST be altered to be shown.

CLERKS:
Qualified Ring Clerks are sought for each day. Clerks will receive lunch each day of clerking plus $30 per day. If interested, please indicate on the Summary Sheet. Clerks will be paid at the end of the each show day. Please do not deduct clerking pay from entry fees.
COMPANION CATS:
No charge for a legitimate Companion Cat [ not a For $ale Only or Exhibition Only cat] in the same cage with a competing cat/kitten, but the owner must send in an Entry Form for the cat.
CONFIRMATIONS:
The Entry Clerk may elect to send confirmations of your entry(ies) by way of regular mail or e-mail or FAX, depending on expediency and whichever method is available to you. Please inticate FAX and e-mail numbers on your Summary Sheet.
COURTESIES:

Be a good sport! Exhibitors are respectfully requested to observe the common courtesies of being a guest in the Mason Center, keep their immediate area clean, and to observe TICA and the Center's rules.

If you have a cat known to spray [male OR female], please advise the ring clerks before your cat comes up so it can be benched in an END cage for ease in cleaning up if necessary.

DIRECTIONS TO SHOW HALL:
The Masonic Center is located at 50 W. Duarte Rd., Arcadia, CA. If traveling West or East on the 210 (Foothill) Freeway, exit at Santa Anita Ave., go South and drive less than 2 miles to Duarte Rd. Turn right and almost immediately turn left into the parking lot of the Center. [Arcadia Public Library is the corner building.] If you need additional information or directions to the show hall and/or hotels, call Bob Mullen for detailed directions.
EARLY BIRD ENTRIES:
Fee(s) MUST accompany Early Bird entries to qualify for those rates. [ That means the Entry(ies) and Fees must be received by the Entry Clerk before the Early Bird Deadline of April 2nd, 2005, or you will be charged the Regular rate. ]
FOOD for CATS:
We may have some samples, but bring your cat's favorite from home to be safe.
FOOD for PEOPLE:
Our "Big Kitchen" will be staffed to serve delicious food and beverages.
FOR $ALE ONLY:
Cats For $ale Only MUST be given catalog numbers. Please submit an Entry Form for each F$O cat or kitten [whether named or not]. Kittens under 3 months of age ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE SHOW HALL for obvious health reasons. Proof of age must be available to the Show Committee. F$O entries available with regular cometition entry, and may have to share the cage with that entry.
GROOMING SPACES:
[If space is available!] Limited and payable at the door. Request accepted in order of receipt of entry(ies). No vending allowed from from grooming spaces, or from atop the cages.
HEALTH RULES:
This is a non-vetted show. All entries must be in good health and up to date on inoculations. ANy obvious ill or pregnant feline, as determined by the Show Committee, must be removed from the show hall. Claws must be clipped on ALL 4 FEET of eachcompeting feline BEFORE it goes to the first ring of the day. Also, please make sure your entry is clean; judges may disqualify or withhold awards on cats deemed unclean. A "roving" flea can be excused; there is no excuse for flea-dirt!

We advise you to book your room early.

The Southwest Region will enforce the, "TICA Hotel Room Inspection Procedures." Everyone reserving a room in the group block acknowledges they consent to these procedures.

Please wrap all used litter in plastic bags and discard properly. Confine spraying cats to the bathroom or cage. EXHIBITORS WILL BE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THEIR ROOMS.

LITTER:
Litter will be provided. Be sure to remember to bring your own litter pan(s).
NEW BREEDS:
Preliminary [PNB] or Advanced [ANB] must be TICA registered to enter.
NOVICE EXHIBITOR:
First cat show? Call the Entry Clerk or one of numbers under TICA Show Contacts in this flier. We'll be glad to help and advise.
PARKING:
Free parking on the grounds. Keep vehicles locked at all times. The Hotels, Masonic Center and the clubs will not accept responsibility for theft or damage.

SHOW HOURS:
Judging is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sat., 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sun. Entries MUST remain in the show hall until posted closing time, or permission to leave is granded by the Show Manager. Hours for general public are 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.
SHOW RULES:
By the act of entering the show, ech exhibitor agrees to abide by the show rules on TICA, as well as the decisions of the SHow Committee.
SMOKING:
We regret any inconvenience, but the interior of the Masonic Center is a NO SMOKING zone. Ashtrays will be placed outside of entrances for smoker's convenience.
STEWARDS:
Stewards will be paid $15 plus lunch, each day of stewarding. If interested, please indicate on the Summary Sheet. Stewards will be paid at the end of the each show day. Please do not deduct stewarding pay from entry fees.
